Sylhet Station Club Hosts Boishakhi Cultural Event

The Women's Sub-Committee of Sylhet Station Club organized a captivating Bangla New Year celebration program to welcome the year 1432. The colorful event was held on Wednesday evening (May 7) at the club's hall room, featuring cultural performances, discussion sessions, and a gathering of club members' families. The program grace by chief guest Shri Chandra Shekhar, Assistant High Commissioner of the Indian in Sylhet, Bangladesh. The program was conducted by Women's Sub-Committee Convener Mousumi Sen and presided over by Sylhet Station Club Limited President Advocate Shah M. Mosahid Ali. Special guest Manas Kumar Mustafi, Second Secretary (Education, Press, Commerce & Culture) of the High Commission also attended. In his speech, the Indian Assistant High Commissioner said: "Bengali culture is very rich. I express my gratitude and joy for being invited to this Bangla New Year program organized by Sylhet Station Club's Women's Sub-Committee." Attendees included former presidents Advocate Nuruddin Ahmed and Mahbub Ahmed Chowdhury, directors Md. Abdullah Ahmed (Management & Recreation), A.M. Mizanur Rahman (Cultural), Rafi Ibrahim (Entertainment), and Women's Sub-Committee members Nazneen Hossain, Rezona Islam Chowdhury, Rawnak Jahan, Bidya Prabha Saha, Rebecca Yasmin, Sharmin Akter, Archana Banik, Krishna Rani Chanda, and Sanzida Khanam. The event featured cultural performances and discussions. .
